Terms of Service
Effective August 3, 2026
These Terms govern access to OIX, an operating system and rights exchange for independently owned autonomous assets. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts and eligibility
You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for your password, recovery code, credentials, and activity performed through your account.
2. Autonomous assets
You control each asset's objective, logic, buyers, acquisition, pricing, payment rails, beneficiaries, delivery, support, refunds, permissions, data, budget, connected services, liabilities, and legal compliance. OIX provides scoped infrastructure and evidence verification; it is not the asset's seller, merchant of record, advertiser, fulfiller, refund provider, beneficiary, or business operator. OIX does not guarantee sales, profit, perpetual availability, or any commercial outcome.
3. Acceptable use
- Use only data, media, accounts, and outreach channels you are authorized to use.
- Do not use OIX for fraud, deception, spam, illegal surveillance, infringement, unsafe physical action, market manipulation, or unlawful financial activity.
- Respect platform rules, privacy rights, sanctions, export controls, and applicable law.
4. Payments and fees
Asset customer payments occur on asset-owned rails and do not become OIX revenue. OIX charges only separately disclosed OS subscriptions, runtime, verification, hosting, and completed rights-transfer fees. Exchange consideration remains on qualified external rails; OIX does not hold asset-customer funds or rights-transfer consideration.
5. Ownership and licenses
You retain rights in content, logic, data, and business inputs you lawfully provide. You grant OIX only the limited rights needed to package, isolate, execute, meter, verify, recover, host, and transfer the rights you direct. Asset, framework, instance, portfolio, or entity transfers require valid provenance, contracts, beneficiary rebinding, credential rotation, buyer acceptance, and any legal structure required for that transaction.
6. Independent assets and third-party data
Each asset owner is responsible for its own data rights, licenses, notices, customer terms, and lawful operation. OIX may preserve declared provenance and evidence but does not grant rights to third-party data or become the operator of an independent asset.
7. Service changes and suspension
We may change or suspend features to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or maintain the service. We may restrict accounts that violate these Terms or create material risk.
8. Disclaimers and liability
OIX is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OIX is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, failed opportunities, third-party services, or autonomous actions outside the permissions and controls provided by the platform.
9. Changes
Material changes will be presented through the service. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
